Review - Huts and Looms, Sustainable and Pure Handwoven Saree

I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted  sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy.  Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree  In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. Hence, the name comes from HandLoom. It is a slow-crafted process, as it needs the utmost patience, creativity, and physical strength to create a masterpiece. Handloom sarees are generally priced because of this reason. I feel every woman looks graceful, powerful and amazing in a saree. Handloom sarees are representing our cultur

I got the shade The Big Bang Berry which is a deep plum-ish berry shade...  Read below to know more regarding this shade..

Packaging And Shade

The outer cardboard cover has the signature  printing all over it, but the actual bullet is very classy and has a rich look. I love this kind of simple yet stylish look. The bullet has a jet black rectangular look which makes it looks rich. The cap locks perfectly ,hence no need of worry while moving out.

The shade is a deep plumish  berry  shade (exactly the same as in the swatch picture) which flatters all indian skintones. It may look different according to the skin tone. But if you are a lover of darker shades, then this shade is a must have in your vanity. The colour will look equally beautiful on medium to dusky skintone .

Texture,Pigmentation & Staying Ability

These lipsticks are not like other matte lipsticks. The texture is creamy and on the other hand it doesn't feel heavy on lips. I have always a soft corner for matte lipsticks. I prefer matte lipsticks over satin lipsticks. I always prep my lips before applying matte lipsticks as these are already super dry and chaffed. I never forget to apply a lipbalm undeneath my lipsticks, but if you forgot in this case, then no need to worry as these vivid lipsticks are super creamy and glides easily on lips without tugging or pulling and gives a nice matte finish. Isn't it amazing? Where the matte as hell lip crayons give powdery matte finish, these vivid one gives gel matte look.

The shade Big Bang Berry is highly pigmented (in the above swatch i have swiped only once and see the finish) . Only one swipe brings a nice opaque coverage. I like this fact a lot. I do apply a single swipe all the time but if you want to add more colours or  need more dramatic lips, then swipe twice.. The shade transfers a little, but that can  bearable .  The colour stays for 5-6 hours on my dry lips and do survive small snacks  time. After fading it leaves a nice hint of colours on my lips which lasts some more times.. Over all a complete value for money..  And another good thing is these lipsticks are free from mineral oils and paraben.. yaayyaa

I personally don't wear such vibrant bold darker shades, but for any night out or evening party, this shade is just perfect. The shade Big Bang Berry is a perfect fall shade.. I am looking for the shade Breaking Bare of this range which is a perfect day wear shade...

Now enjoy some pics... The shade is looking exactly the same as it is...  All credit goes to my camera...
