Review - Huts and Looms, Sustainable and Pure Handwoven Saree

I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted  sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy.  Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree  In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. Hence, the name comes from HandLoom. It is a slow-crafted process, as it needs the utmost patience, creativity, and physical strength to create a masterpiece. Handloom sarees are generally priced because of this reason. I feel every woman looks graceful, powerful and amazing in a saree. Handloom sarees are representing our cultur

Oriflame Wide Eyes Open Mascara - Review

Hello everyone...  How are you all..  I am down with cold and caugh...  New place, new climate,  I am yet to adjust and set here in Ahmedabad...  Anyway today I have decided to write a long time pending post..

I am going to write on the newly  launched Oriflame Wide Eyes Open Mascara..  I am a great lover of eye makeup products  though I am not good in eye makeup but I never forget to apply a kohl/liner and a mascara before stepping out.  I personally don't prefer the waterproof mascara as these are difficult  to remove for me...  Every time I end up with two three lashes on my palm while removing waterproof mascara...  that's why I love non-waterproof mascara which are easy to remove...

I love the way a mascara can bring a nice transformation on eyes...  The specially designed brush of Oriflame wide eyes open mascara curls the lashes from root to tip and also put it on place for a long time, that is what the brand claims about the product...  Let's see how much I have impressed by it...

Price- Rs 550/-

Packaging- The mascara has a burgundy colour packaging with some silver detailing on it... The applicator is different in size from the regular ones...  It has narrow tip with  wider buttom  which is great for applying proper quantity...  The cap has click- lock system which is again very sturdy to use...

My Opinion- The wide eyes open mascara is a non-waterproof mascara though it doesn't bleed easily when comes in contact with water but if you rub or put any pressure,  it may bleed which is very obvious...  It is a dark black colour mascara..

The texture is just perfect to apply...  I love how it looks on my eyes...  You can see the curls in the below picture...  I have not used any eyelash curler here and the mascara gives a nice decent curl to my lashes which is long lasting as well...  I have taken this picture after 1hour of application...  The mascara doesn't add more volume into my lashes but I love the after effect... The cone shaped wand is great for applying evenly on the lashes... The smaller bristles are good for lower lashes or inner lashes and wider bristles are perfect for the upper lashes...  It curls ftom the root, hence my lashes look longer than usual... I just need 2-3 coats and done...  It really opens up my eyes like it says...  A totally worth product I must say..  As it is non-waterproof, hence can easily remove with a cleanser but I do prefer a makeup remover to remove first...  Currently I am using the Oriflame makeup remover as well...  Review will come soon..

Pros-
🔸Specially designed applicator which is great for even application
🔸Gives nice curls from root to tip
🔸Long lasting
🔸Makes my lashes look longer and more wide and open eyes
🔸Easily remove (non-waterproof ) - I love this fact but some may not

Cons -
🔸Not waterproof  (not a concern for me )
🔸Availability
🔸Pricey

Rating - 4.5/5 😊

Recommendation - I totally recommend to everyone to try this out...  If you love to experiment with different mascaras, then this one would be a great choice for you ...  I personally love this baby so much, hope you will too...

See you in my next post... Till then keep visiting...

Stay Beautiful..
Xoxo ❤❤
