Review - Huts and Looms, Sustainable and Pure Handwoven Saree

I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted  sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy.  Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree  In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. Hence, the name comes from HandLoom. It is a slow-crafted process, as it needs the utmost patience, creativity, and physical strength to create a masterpiece. Handloom sarees are generally priced because of this reason. I feel every woman looks graceful, powerful and amazing in a saree. Handloom sarees are representing our cultur

Matrix Biolage Deep Soothing Hair Serum - Review

Matrix is a very well-known brand in hair care products... They have amazing products at reasonable price which can give you visibly salon like effect at home as well... I was thinking to try their shampoo and conditioner but then thought to try out the much raved hair soothing serum first...  Hence I am using this Matrix Biolage Deep Soothing Hair Serum since a month now and here is my opinion for all of you...

A good hair serum is really important if you have dry and fizzy hair like me..  Initially when I was in school, I used to apply oil after shampoo but as time passed I don't prefer to have oil for a whole day...  And due to this my hair became more drier and un-manageable which tends to hair fall.  But now I am using this matrix hair serum after shampoo and it has all natural ingredients which doesn't harm hair in long term...

BRAND CLAIMS - Biolage smoothproof infuses hair with weightless smoothness, leaving it frizz-free and easy to control while keeping it natural to the touch.

Biolage 6-in-1 deep soothing serum provides 6 benefits for your hair..
1- Controls frizz
2- Deeply soothens rough ends
3- Protects hair from humidity
4- Adds instant shine
5- Nourishes dry hair
6- Instantly detangles

PRICE - Rs295/- for 100ml.

INGREDIENTS - Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethiconol, C12-15 alkyl benzoate, Persea Gratissima/Avocado Oil, Vitis Vinifera/Grape Seed Oil, Limonene, Hexyl Cinnamal, Coumarin, Linalool, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Hydroxycitronellal, Amyl Cinnamyl, Geraniol, Alpha isomethyl ionone, Isoeugenol Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Parfum/Fragrance.

PACKAGING - The packaging has changed recently.. Earlier it comes with different packaging but I like the current packaging more...  Well,  it is a orange transparent bottle with flip open cap which is sturdy enough...  It is travel-friendly...

MY OPINION -  The hair serum is transparent in colour  and looks more like oil on palm.  It is really light weight but the texture is heavy, hence one should be careful regarding the quantity while applying...  Only few drops I require for my shoulder length hair...  The serum has very refreshing mild fragrance which vanishes after few minutes only...

I normally apply this on my damp hair (only on the lower part of hair, and one should avoid using serum at the roots) and leave to dry completely as usual.  Sometimes I apply on my dry hair just to add some shine and texture to it...  It can also be applied before any using hair styling products just to protect hair from extra damage...  This hair serum is very effective in detangling hair and gives a nice smooth shiny hair.  It controls the fizzy-ness to some extent but not that much in my case.  I have curly hair type (not much though) and it helps me to manage my hair after wash and there is always less hairfall with it.  The only down thing is the effect is not long lasting...

I haven't tried much hair serums till date (only tried the livon one) , hence can't compare it with others ..

    1. This one only detangles hair after shampoo, hence less hairfall after shampoo only... Not effective in controlling hairfall on regular basis...
