Review - Huts and Looms, Sustainable and Pure Handwoven Saree

I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted  sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy.  Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree  In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. Hence, the name comes from HandLoom. Oriflame The ONE High Impact Eye Pencils Review & Swatches

These days I am in love with eye pencils and liners...  I don't use makeup on everyday basis, only on any special ocassion I prefer to open my makeup vanity... But love applying eye liner, lipstick and mascara whenever I step out. I have a little collection of eye pencils from different brands, I will show you all someday... Recently I have added few more eye pencils into my kitty which are from Oriflame...  These are named as Oriflame The ONE High Impact Eye Pencil and I have all the four shades of the range...  Let's talk about these in detail..

ABOUT ORIFLAME THE ONE HIGH IMPACT EYE PENCILS -

Confident eye lining in a single stroke. Intense colour glides on smoothly and lasts all day without fading, slipping or smudging. Retractable tip never needs sharpening.

Shades - Omny Black,  Amazon Green, Deep Plum  & Midnight Blue

MY EXPERIENCE ON ORIFLAME THE ONE HIGH IMPACT EYE PENCILS -

The Oriflame high impact eye pencils comes in a plum colour retractable pencil form which is very easy to apply...  The top of the cap is colour coded, hence it is easy to choose the shade if you have more than one of these.  I have all the four shades of this range...  I think these high impact eye pencils are the relaunched version of oriflame very me eye pencils.  Anyway, these high impact eye pencils are very good in terms of quality and the shades are super pretty...

Look the below swatches of the high impact eye pencils...

Omny Black - This is the glossy black shade of the range..  The colour is richly pigmented in one swipe and has very creamy texture..  It glides smoothly on eye lids without tugging or pulling.  I am wearing it so much these days..

Amazon Green - This is the lovely dark green shade with very fine golden shimmers in it and It is again of creamy and glossy texture. The colour needs two swipes to look pigmented on eyes.  Loved the shade too..

Deep Plum - It is a very beautiful dark plum purple kind shade which is of matte finish. It has also very glossy texture and it glides smoothly on eye lids..  The colour is pigmented in one swipe and sometimes in two swipes.

Midnight Blue - This is a nice ink-blue shade with matte finish.  The colour is pigmented in one swipe.  The texture is creamy and smooth, hence glides easily on eye lids...

When it comes to stating ability, these eye pencils has good staying power of around 5-6 hours..  To be very honest, oriflame eye pencils are not very impressive for me earlier but these beauties are a big hit...  I love all the four shades...

PROS.. -
1- Beautiful shades
2- Smooth and creamy texture
3- Has good staying power
4- Glides smoothly on eye lids
5- Nicely pigmented

CONS.. -
1- Availability may be an issue

RATING - 4.5/5 😊

  8. I had midnight blue! It dried super quick and became so difficult to apply that I had to trash it. 😒 I really liked it before it had dried.
