I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy. Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. Hence, the name comes from HandLoom. It is a slow-crafted process, as it needs the utmost patience, creativity, and physical strength to create a masterpiece. Handloom sarees are generally priced because of this reason. I feel every woman looks graceful, powerful and amazing in a saree. Handloom sarees are representing our cultur
Finally it is raining in Ahmedabad since a week now... I am enjoying a lot and the heat has reduced a bit.. I love rain and it reminds me pakora, tea and news paper... Oh my GOD ,I am going to fry onion pakoras after finishing this post...
Well I have decided to celebrate my happiness by drawing a monsoon inspired nailart for all of you... How is the idea ? So it is a simple nailart with clouds, rainbow, umbrella, etc..
*I have drawn quite lot of rainy season nailarts last year, you can check all HERE *
So let's get into the tutorial..
PRODUCTS REQUIRED -
1-Few colourful nail polishes (have shared all the nail polishes picture above)
2- Few toothpicks
3- A large dotting tool
4- A sponge for creating ombre effect..
STEPS -
1- First paint the nails in white as in white base the ombre effect will look good.
2- Then I have created an ombre effect using two different shades of aqua shade nail polishes which will resemble the sky..
3- Then after cleaning the messy outside, take the large dotting tool and put few dots and joint those to form cloud.. For reference please see the below picture...
4- I have tried to create a rainbow design by joining the middle and ring finger nails.. For creating rainbow take a toothpick and draw lines accordingly..
5- For the index nail and small nail, I have chosen the rain on the umbrella theme... In the same way created cloud using dotting tool.. The umbrella is a free hand art..
6- To add a little fun, I have created funny face on the cloud designs..
7 - For the thumb nail, I have drawn two umbrellas (one close and one open) which is again free hand art.
8- After dried out everything, applied a good layer of top coat and done...
Now enjoy few pictures..
Hope you like this monsoon nailart... See you in the next post..
