Review - Huts and Looms, Sustainable and Pure Handwoven Saree

I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted  sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy.  Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree  In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. Hence, the name comes from HandLoom. It is a slow-crafted process, as it needs the utmost patience, creativity, and physical strength to create a masterpiece. Handloom sarees are generally priced because of this reason. I feel every woman looks graceful, powerful and amazing in a saree. Handloom sarees are repr...

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream Review

Hello everyone..

Now so many BB creams and CC creams are floating on market.. Some brands also have launched their DD creams (have read somewhere in internet)..  These are so funny…I think that time will not so far when brands will launch ZZ cream…

Anyway today I am going to write on Garnier  Miracle skin perfector BB cream. My first BB cream was Maybelline BB cream which I had bought a year ago and quite unhappy with that result.. It may be I had choose the wrong shade for me or whatever. After that I wasn’t buy any BB cream.. And one month ago during my shopping I saw this little box of Garnier  and made up my mind to give it a try with some positive hope. I have used so many stuffs from Garnier before and quite sure that this BB cream will not wash me out..

Let’s read below how it performed on me… (I have read so many good reviews on it before)..

What Garnier says about this BB Cream:

Price: Rs99/- for 18gm. and Rs198/- for 40gm.
Shelf Life: 36months from mfg.

Ingredients:

My experience:  The Garnier BB cream comes in a cute flat tube which is beige in color with a white screw cap. It has an elongated dispenser which squeeze required quantity cream easily. The packaging is very sturdy and handy.. The fragrance is very sweet and pleasant..

The color of the BB cream is beige (it has only one shade) which will suit almost every Indian skintone.  The texture is not so creamy and the consistency is a little runny.  I have used the Maybelline BB cream before and this one is a little more runny in texture from that.

It blends so smoothly without any extra effort and doesn’t feel heavy  on face. Usually I apply the garnier BB cream after my moisturizer as I feel that it hasn’t much moisturizing capacity (I have normal to dry skin). . If you have oily skin then you can apply directly on face. It adds a natural glow to my face after each application which lasts for some hours obviously . The main drawback is its coverage which is very low. It does not cover a tiny spot at all, no coverage for dark circles, pigmentations, acne marks , etc. you will need extra makeup for that..:(  It has SPF factor which means no need of extra sunscreen.. All and all It is a very decent BB cream and I love applying this regularly.

Likes:

1-      Very cute and travel-friendly packaging.
2-      Sweet fragrance
3-      Blends easily and doesn’t feel heavy on face
4-      Adds a nice glow to face after application
5-      Has SPF24 UVA/UVB protection
6-      Budget buy
7-      Easily available at any store

Dislikes:

1-      Coverage is very low
2-      It hasn’t enough moisturizing capacity to moturise dry skins..

Rating: 4/5

Final Verdict: The Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream is a very decent cream with SPF24 in it. I would recommend this cream to those who doesn’t need any coverage to their skin. If you have oily skin then apply it on bare face otherwise apply a good moisturizer underneath it . It adds a healthy natural glow to face . I love this  and will buy another one after finishing my current tube.
