Recently Maybelline have launched new lipsticks called ColorShow Lipsticks. Before that they had launched both matte and glitter nail paints and colour eye pencils from the same range which are very good quality and well priced. I love the whole colorshow range. After seeing the full swatches of the colorshow lipsticks on some blogs,i bought the shade "Caramel Custard" from Nykaa.com during their Diwali sale.
I have so many pink and red shades from other brands,so this time I wanted one brownish or nude-ish shade which i can wear in daily basis. And this one is a perfect match to my choice. Move to know in detail...

The packaging is very boring as well as looks cheap but feels sturdy to carry around. The lipstick shade and details are written at the bottom of the case.
Shade, Texture & Coverage : The shade Caramel Custard is like the colour of caramel or some dusty brown-ish colour. It looks very natural on lips. You can wear it on daily basis without any hesitations. The texture is creamy and hydrating which is the best part of them. It doesn't feel heavy on lips. This shade is very very pigmented .One single swipe brings the full coverage. Those who have dry lips like me ,these are the best choice. I don't need any lip balm underneath it. Besides its creamy texture it doesn't look glossy on my lips. But one thing is that , after some time of application my lip feels dry and the lipstick settles into fine lines. Then it would be better if you apply a transparent gloss after sometime of its application, that's way your lip doesn't feel dehydrated. and you will have a nice glossy lips to flaunt. The shade is very pretty and will match with every outfits.
Staying Capacity: This particular shade stays maximum 2.5-3 hours on my lips with very short snacks. As it isn't a bright shade I have to touch up again and again which I don't mind. The shade is transferable due to its creamy nature.

The shade Caramel Custard is a very pretty warm brownish shade which look very natural on lips. The lipstick is creamy and hydrating in nature which is very good thing for dry lips girls. I love wearing this shade. It is a must buy if you want to add some different shades except reds and pinks.
