Review - Huts and Looms, Sustainable and Pure Handwoven Saree

I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted  sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy.  Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree  In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. Hence, the name comes from HandLoom. It is a slow-crafted process, as it needs the utmost patience, creativity, and physical strength to create a masterpiece. Handloom sarees are generally priced because of this reason. I feel every woman looks graceful, powerful and amazing in a saree. Handloom sarees are representing our cultur

Review ~ Nivea Nourishing Lotion Body Milk (For very dry skin)

Hii...

I am back with another Nivea product review and that is the Nivea Nourishing Lotion Body Milk . Due to my dry and flaky skin of winter I need total 5-6 body lotions during the whole season and sometimes more than that. I had told you all about my Nivea hamper in my previous post and this lotion is another stuff which I had received in that. Have you noticed Nivea has changed the packaging of some of their products and hiked the price as well.. Very bad... Anyway move to know whether i love this lotion or not. And It is mentioned that it is for very dry skin..let's see how it worked on my very dry winter skin..

Product Details:

Price: Rs 200/- for 200ml.

Ingredients:

My Experience: The Body lotion comes in a dark blue plastic bottle with a very tight flip cap. The packaging is very sturdy and leak proof. All informations are written on the back side of the bottle. The lotion is white in colour .It has very mild fragrance which lasts for some more time even after application.

The texture is not very thin nor very thick . The lotion is very creamy and soft in nature .It spreads very smoothly on skin and absorbs quickly into the skin. It doesn't leave any greasy feeling after application. It makes my skin super soft and hydrated through out the day. I do apply once in a day and that's after my bath and I don't need any extra touch up till night. It is perfect for winter season and for very dry skin girls. It has almond oil which nourishes our skin and makes it soft and smooth. The one thing is that it has not any sun protection factor. You have to apply a sun screen before stepping out. I will definitely recommend this to every body to try atleast once in winter and i am sure you will  purchase it again and again.

Pros:

  • Sturdy packaging
  • Has creamy texture and spreads easily on skin
  • Quickly absorbs by skin
  • Makes skin soft and hydrated trough out the whole day
  • Very mild fragrance
  • Has almond oil in it

Cons:

  • Hasn't any SPF
  • Has alcohol and paraben

Rating: 4/5

See you in my next post...Byee..
