I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy. Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. My Opinion: This face tonic is for normal to oily skins ,but it suits my normal to dry skin quite well. At first I was hesitate to use it,then after few uses I love applying this toner. In this summer my skin is like sometime normal and sometime I feel dryness, but the toner is ok with my skin. I do apply twice a day, once in the morning after taking bath and once at night before going to bed. I apply it with a cotton pad,but you can also spray direct on face. I gently dab the cotton pad on my face and neck ,then wait for some minutes to absorbed completely, then do apply a sunscreen. Immediate after applying it ,i can feel very refreshed each time and this is due to the presence of mint in it. It has pomegranate within it which is well known for its antioxidant property. It doesn't dry-out my skin, but I do follow a moisturiser/sunscreen after it. I am using it since 2 weeks now and doesn't feel any irritation or red patches on my skin. I don't have any visible pore issue ,that's why can't comment on that part, but I am sure it will also work on that.
The tonic is yellow in color and has a weird smell. The smell lasts for a while but I don't prefer that fragrance. It has alcohol within it which a drawback for a toner. Let's see its pro and cons in short..
Pros:
- Nice packaging with spray dispenser
- 100% vegetarian
- Keeps skin refreshed
- Doesn't give any irritation or red patches, etc
- Has mint and pomegranate as active ingredients
- Doesn't dry-out my skin
- Suits normal -oily skin
- Not tested on animals
Cons:
- Has weird smell
- Has alcohol in it
Rating: 3/5
