I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy. Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. Hence, the name comes from HandLoom. It is a slow-crafted process, as it needs the utmost patience, creativity, and physical strength to create a masterpiece. Handloom sarees are generally priced because of this reason. I feel every woman looks graceful, powerful and amazing in a saree. Handloom sarees are representing our cultur
Monsoon has already started and during this time you can expect various pleasant smells and sometimes unwanted dirty smells around yours and it is very common . I have very sensitive nose or should I say I am very possessive to all kinds of smells. First if I will talk about the pleasant smell, the things come to my mind are the smell of moist earth, fresh smell of flowers of my garden, etc. But life is not always fill with such good smells and all.. , now-a-days due to pollution and other environmental changes the amount of foul odour increases and always swivel around us. Most of the time they come from outside where people throw their wastage. During rainy season the problem is more compared to other seasons .. Besides that , what if the unwanted bad smell comes from within our house .. Yes you heard right.. and it is not uncommon. We ( including me) never feel that foul odour of our house unless it exceeds its amount, but people from outside /guests can easily catch that thing..and that situation is a disaster ..
As the monsoon has already started,I am going to talk about this season specially. During rainy season the main issue of bad smell is the wet/ damped half dry cloths. Imagine you have washed a bucket full of cloths and it has started raining. Then there is no option except to use your living room to hang that wet cloths . And the smell comes from that half dry cloths is not very pleasant at all. At that time if any guest arrives then the issue is like doubled .. That same problem arises with everybody and we can't ignore it during this season . I usually take the help of incense sticks or room sprays or scented candles..
I am a non-vegetarian and everybody in my house as well. The taste/flavour of fish curry is amazing while the smell of raw fish is very unwanted (especially during rainy season it is unbearable for me. ). I wash my hand again and again to avoid that smell. I do apply deodorants and flowery fragranced talc all the time . Again non-veg items need excess amount of spices, onions and garlics and that's very obvious.. But some times onions and garlics create very unpleasant atmosphere . I can't tolerate this especially when guests are there..
One more very common thing is,if you have small kids in your home ,then the smell of pees and poos are really annoying. It doesn't matter how many times you are cleaning your floor/home ,the smells are always there somewhere. I have a two year old son and I always try to clean my floor but always find his toilet smell somewhere.. it is disgusting when your guests are there. I use room spray, scented candle to avoid all that dirty smells but they are just very temporary, like after few minute their smell mix with that bad odour and that mixed smell is much more annoying...
I seriously need something which drives away the unpleasant smell of these things and brings a nice fresh smell into my house. Then I don't need to worry/uncomfortable in-front of my guests . Let's see if I can find something way better to bring my house from #SmellyToSmiley ..
