I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy. Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. Hence, the name comes from HandLoom. It is a slow-crafted process, as it needs the utmost patience, creativity, and physical strength to create a masterpiece. Handloom sarees are generally priced because of this reason. I feel every woman looks graceful, powerful and amazing in a saree. Handloom sarees are repr...
I am a great fan of Maybelline ColorShow nail polishes.. not only the nail polishes ,you can say I am crazy about the whole range and I have almost everything of this range (lipsticks, eye pencil, etc.) .. I love doing nail arts ,though I am not a perfectionist ,but I always love to try different shades, different designs on my nails. I haven't a huge collection os nail polishes, but most of the polishes are from maybelline colorshow range as these are of good quality with affordable price tag. Each time I go for shopping (or do online shopping) ,I never forget to buy a colorshow nail polish. Recently they have launched the Go Graffiti range which have some amazing designed polishes.
In the Go Graffiti collection total 9 shades are available from which 6 shades are actually textured top coats (which are quite similar to the loreal ones) and rest 3 shades are gel polishes which are I am yet to try.. I have three textured polishes from this range. I have reviewed one before here which named as Star Struck (click HERE) .. And today I will write about another very pretty top coat from the same range which called Unmellow Yellow . Bofore jumping to the review just put your eyes on this mani .. is it amazing??
Price: Rs145/-
Availability: Available at NYKAA.COM
The packaging is very similar to the other colorshow polishes. The applicator is of good quality and has fine and soft bristles which spreads the nail paint properly on nails. The product code and name are written on the top of the cap. All and all the tiny glass bottle looks so classy with the tiny mini textures inside it.
The texture of the nail polish is neither too thick nor too thin just perfect to apply. Unmellow Yellow is actually a clear top coat with loads of back hexagons of different sizes , small neon-ish yellow-ish green hexagons and tiny black flecks. These add a nice texture to nails only in one swipe. But if you want to add more textures then you can add second swipe over it. One thing to be noted that you have to apply this top coat when the base coat is completely dry. And withing few seconds your beautiful nail art is ready to flaunt.
In these pictures I have used Oriflame ONE nail polish Ballerina Rose as a base coat. It will also look beautiful on white, bright yellow and grey bases. Here i have applied one separate transparent top coat on it (as I do household chores),but you can avoid it if don't do any . The top coat I have applied is from Oriflame (Find review HERE ).. It stays 6-7 days properly without chipping. These are actually super amazing.. I love these pretty textures on my nails. The one drawback is it is hard to remove due to the textures, but i can ignore that thing happily.
Pros:
- Gives a pretty glamorous look to nails.
- Easy to appy
- Add nice textures to my nails
- Long lasting
- Reasonable priced as compared to the Loreal ones
- Available online sites
Cons:
- Need extra efforts to remove (but i don't mind that :p)
Rating: 4.9/5
I totally recommend these pretties to everyone. If you don't know nailarts but love to decorate your nails then these beauties are for you. I have another one from this range which I will review after this..So stay tuned..
