Review - Huts and Looms, Sustainable and Pure Handwoven Saree

I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted  sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy.  Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree  In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. Hence, the name comes from HandLoom. It is a slow-crafted process, as it needs the utmost patience, creativity, and physical strength to create a masterpiece. Handloom sarees are generally priced because of this reason. I feel every woman looks graceful, powerful and amazing in a saree. Handloom sarees are repr...

Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow Lip Balm "CHERRY" Review

Hello beautiful ladies..

After a really long holiday I am back to my heaven,my blog... Actually I was at my mom's place for my brother's wedding . And after so much rest (you know, nothing can beat mother's home ) ,again ready for work.. After coming from my hometown ,my home was like dustbin (husbands never keep home clean and that's the big headache) . Then you can imagine my stage , it was more than enough to calculate my two months rest.. OMG finally I have settled down.. My son is going to school now, hence I am getting ;little time for myself.. Once the baby grew up ,then forget to get your own time. All the time only fulfil his/her demand.. Anyway leave all that.. In between my blog has turned ..OOOhhhh  CLAPS PLEASE.. So you can expect some surprises as well.. I will ..I will.. wait .. There are two good news on the way.. I will reveal that in my next post,so please bear with me..

Now its time to review a cute yet lovely launch from my all time favourite  brand Maybelline .. Yes let's do a quick review on Maybelline's recent launch "The Baby Lips Candy Wow Lip Balms " and I have the shade CHERRY  with me.

Price: Rs 275/- for 2gms.
Shelf Life: 36months from mfg.

Brand Claims: This time, Baby Lips has launched a new range of lip balms called the Baby Lips Candy Wow range to make your winter exciting and fun.Baby Lips has moved beyond the basic lip balm stick and now comes in the form of a crayon pen! Enriched with Vitamin E, this chubby stick will help you wow your lips in 5 candy shades -  Raspberry, Mixed Berry, Orange, Cherry and Peach. Now take intense care of your lips this Winter and pop them with a dash of color with the fun and sweetness of a candy.

My View: Maybelline always comes with some new launches time to time and their eye catching packaging with great formula makes hit in the market all the time. Recently one month back they launch two of their new launches and these candy wow lip balms are one of those. I love the previous baby lips as well and these are the new renovations of those. Their are five shades to choose. All shades have vibrant colour hints with moisturised formula. I have the shade Cherry with me to review today. Now a days I am using this lip balms regularly and I love this cutie-pie.

The lip balms comes in a crayon form which breaks the traditional packaging of lipbalms. Due to the retractable format there is no chances of wastage of product which is good enough. These are very easy to apply due to the crayon style packaging.. All the shades have colour coded packaging ,so easy to identify ,if you have more than one shades. The lid is very tight ,hence no issue during travelling..

The texture is buttery creamy which gives enough moisture to dry chapped lips. As the name shade it is a vibrant cherry colour balm. If you want a nice glossy look then one swipe is enough, but if you want a pop of colour ,then 2-3 swipes are good. It doesn't feel sticky or heavy on lips and doesn't stay into fine line like some other balms does. The fragrance is amazing,I love the fresh cherry smell of it. These candy wow lip balms has goodness of Vitamin E which treats the dry lips and provides extra moisture to it.. But in my opinion if you have very dry lips ,you may need extra moisturiser ,this won't help you much.

I am not impressed by its staying power. It transfers very easily on anything due to its creamy and glossy nature. The glossy-ness doesn't last for more than 3-4hours in my case ,but the hint of colour was their even after the glossy-ness gone.  There is a nice pink-ish red colour on my lips for some more time..

I love love its attractive yummy packaging and the shade selections are also great. If you want to flaunt your lip balms or want to switch from the boring as usual lip balm packagings ,then must buy these beauties. I am sure you will fall in love with these cuties..
