Review - Huts and Looms, Sustainable and Pure Handwoven Saree

I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted  sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy.  Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree  In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. Hence, the name comes from HandLoom. It is a slow-crafted process, as it needs the utmost patience, creativity, and physical strength to create a masterpiece. Handloom sarees are generally priced because of this reason. I feel every woman looks graceful, powerful and amazing in a saree. Handloom sarees are repr...

Lakme 9 to 5 Colour Transform CC Creams (Beige And Bronze) Review And Swatches

Heya...
How was your Diwali ? Mine was great... Recently I had got a cute golden bag from Lakme itself which has the newly launched Lakme 9 to 5 Colour Transform CC Creams (both the shades).. Hence I decided to do a swatch post along with my own experience.. So let's get into the review...

Brand Claims -

Price - Rs325/- for 30ml.

Ingredients -

Packaging -

These ones are very similar packaging to the previous cc creams by lakme..  The only difference is the ombre effect of white and nude shade on the tube...  It has a screw cap which makes it looking classy as well as travel-friendly.. The tube again comes inside a burgundy colour cardboard box which has all necessary information regarding the product.

My opinion - I was super excited after getting these stuffs...  I haven't tried the previous cc creams by lakme earlier because I didn't find a perfect match for my skin tone.  But this time no problem arised... Actually there are two shades available.. Beige and Bronze ,where beige is for medium to fair skin tones and bronze is for dusky skin tones..  and I found beige shade is nearer to my complexion..  These CC creams has very mild and refreshing fragrance...

Both the shades looks similar initially  but you can notice the difference in shades only after blending on  skin. The cream is white in colour with very fine gray and black particles..  I feel like the particles do burst while blending on skin and gives a skin colour natural finish... You can notice the difference in shades in the bellow swatch picture...

Texture of the CC cream is really smooth and spreads evenly on skin and blends well to provide a natural coverage..  It doesn't hide dark circles or any dark spots properly ... You will definitely need a concealer underneath it to bring the perfection.. Other than that these CC creams are good for everyday office makeup or normal simple daily look...  I don't like heavy foundations on daily basis , hence this CC creams are good options for me. It has SPF 30 ,hence no need of applying extra sunscreen over it..  This stays for around 5-6hours on my face.. I love the concept and will repurchase once the current one got over...

Pros-

📌 Nice classy packaging
📌 Has SPF 30
📌 Will suit most of the Indian skin tones
📌 Feel smooth and lightweight on skin
📌 Provides sheer coverage

Cons-
📌  Doesn't hide dark circles

Rating- 4/5

Note - Don't apply these CC creams using your fingers. To get a nice dewy coverage, apply using a wet sponge.. In this way you will get a perfect finishing look as well...

See you in my next post...
Bye... 😊

P.S - PR sample but my review is honest and unbiased..
