Review - Huts and Looms, Sustainable and Pure Handwoven Saree

I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted  sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy.  Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree  In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. Hence, the name comes from HandLoom. It is a slow-crafted process, as it needs the utmost patience, creativity, and physical strength to create a masterpiece. Handloom sarees are generally priced because of this reason. I feel every woman looks graceful, powerful and amazing in a saree. Handloom sarees are repr...

Oriflame The ONE Loose Powder Review

Today's review is on Oriflame the ONE Loose Powder which was a new launch (two months before I guess)...  I have never used a loose powder earlier as I always apply a compact before stepping out and I don't apply anything expect my moisturizer when at home...  I had a Lakme loose powder (The rose powder one) when I was in college but I never applied it, don't know why... I had a believe that, as I have dry skin type, hence loose powder might make it more dry and patchy kind but I was completely wrong...  After applying this Oriflame ONE Loose Powder, I realized that I was a fool... 😃😃

So now come to the actual point and jump into the review of Oriflame the ONE Loose Powder which I have applied couple of times till now...

Price - Rs749/- for 7gms.
Ingredients - A long list of chemicals...

Packaging -

I love the tiny cute handy packaging of it..  It has a nice sturdy screw cap as you can see in the picture...  There are few holes and a sticker on it..  You have to pull the sticker up and don't pull it fully... Just open two three holes and after getting the powder out again stick the sticker, in this way the hygiene will maintain...  I wish there should be a puff which can make the application procedure easy while travelling.... Other than that you can use a big fluffy powder brush to apply...  The powder pot comes inside a cardboard cover which has all information regarding the product.

My Opinion -  A loose powder is best to set all makeup..  As I haven't tried any other brand before, hence can't compare it with any...  If you are thinking about the higher price tag, then I must tell you that, good loose powders are much higher priced in market.. And you can buy this during offers ..

The powder is pure white in colour but looks absolutely skin colour after application.. Again if you apply more quantity then it makes you look cakey...  I need very small quantity just to set my foundation/BB/CC creams...  It is best for baking under the eyes...  If applied properly, then the tiny pot will last for a long time...  The translucent powder leaves a nice  glow on my face after application which lasts for an hour...  It has very mild and refreshing fragrance which doesn't bother my nose at all.  I didn't notice any skin breakouts after using it continuously..  This one suits all skin type but so good for combination to oily skin... I generally use the wet makeup sponge to apply this and in this way it sets into a dewy finish...  The powder keep the foundation and concealer on place for a good hours and doesn't crease..

P.S- Here I have only my cc cream (review is coming soon) and this oriflame loose powder on my face and this one is not edited at all...

I am going to repurchase this one and I think this is one of the best translucent powder available in market...

Pros -
▶ Nice, cute, handy packaging
▶ Gives a subtle glow to my face after application
▶Refreshing fragrance
▶ A small quantity requires for each use
▶ Keeps my make up on place for hours
▶Suit all skin type but best suit for oily to combination skin type
▶ Doesn't irritate my skin
▶ Good for baking makeup
▶ One of the best translucent powder

Cons -
▶If you apply more quantity, then it makes skin cakey
▶Some may find pricey
▶ Availability

Rating - 4/5 ❤❤

I totally recommend the Oriflame ONE Loose Powder to everyone... If you are finding it pricey then buy during discount time and oriflame has discounts very now and then...
