Review - Huts and Looms, Sustainable and Pure Handwoven Saree

I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted  sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy.  Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree  In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. Hence, the name comes from HandLoom. It is a slow-crafted process, as it needs the utmost patience, creativity, and physical strength to create a masterpiece. Handloom sarees are generally priced because of this reason. I feel every woman looks graceful, powerful and amazing in a saree. Handloom sarees are repr...

Oriflame Giordani Gold Bronzing Pearls (All the three shades) - Review & Swatches

Bronzing pearls wear very new to me unless I had seen the Oriflame Giordani Gold Bronzing Pearls...  In December Oriflame had launched these beauties along with few more products into the Giordanigold range...  Actually these bronzing pearls are the relaunched version of the previous giordani bronzing pearls...  I haven't tried the previous ones, hence I was so happy when I got my hands on these beauties...  These bronzing pearls can be use multi-purposely...  Let's discuss in detail...

BRAND CLAIMS - Multi-coloured powdered pearls that give skin a sun kissed glow, a slight shimmer and a touch of healthy colour. The spun and hand-shaped beads are enriched with a Mineralc Complex for a soft caress of comfort and subtle shimmer.

PRICE - Rs1399/- for 25gm.

INGREDIENTS -
TALC, MICA, OCTYLDODECYL STEAROYL STEARATE, SORBITOL, ISOSTEARYL NEOPENTANOATE, HYDROGENATED STARCH HYDROLYSATE, PHENOXYETHANOL, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, METHYLPARABEN, PROPYLPARABEN, TIN OXIDE, SODIUM DEHYDROACETATE, BHT, CI 77891, CI 77491, CI 77163, CI 77492, CI 77499, CI 15850, CI 77742, CI 45410, CI 15985, CI 77288

PACKAGING - The Giordanigold bronzing pearls come in a very stylish dark back case with a screw open cap and a sponge applicator inside..  I wish it has flip open cap which normally makes the application easy while traveling or in hurry..  Again the black case comes inside a black cardboard box which has all information regarding the product...

MY EXPERIENCE -  Bronzing pearls are like bronzer or blush in beads form...  You just have to swirl a blush brush or a sponge applicator on the pearls and apply on face... The pearls are super delicate, it should be use with very light handed..  Basically there are three variants available in this range and these are Natural Radiance, Natural Peach and Dark Bronze...

Oriflame Giordani Gold Bronzing Pearls Natural Radiance

Natural Radiance has pink, beige and brown pearls in it ... You can use this as highlighter or blush and it gives a very natural coverage with a healthy shine...  The shade is instantly brighten up my skin tone and also it will go with most of the skin tones...  I am loving this particular shade more..
Oriflame Giordani Gold Bronzing Pearls Natural Peach
Natural Peach has peach and light orange shade kind pearls which gives a nice peachy look when applied like a blush...  I prefer it using as a blush... You also can use this as a eyeshadow base, just break a pearl and apply all over the lid and blend well...

Oriflame Giordani Gold Bronzing Pearls Dark Bronze
Dark Bronze has light brown and dark brown pearls...  It is specially for contouring purpose..

All the bronzing pearls are really pigmented, hence you have to be careful while applying...  The staying power is around 6-7 hours on me and sometimes a little less (it depends upon the weather outside).  These are very easy to use and obviously less time consuming as these are multi-tasking products...  I don't feel any irritation or iching after applying these bronzing pearls... The bronzing pearls are very shiny or shimmery, hence matte lovers might have issue with these...  But for highlighting these beauties are perfect...
