I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy. Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. Hence, the name comes from HandLoom. It is a slow-crafted process, as it needs the utmost patience, creativity, and physical strength to create a masterpiece. Handloom sarees are generally priced because of this reason. I feel every woman looks graceful, powerful and amazing in a saree. Handloom sarees are repr...
Today's post is going to be a little different from the regular posts I do.. This post is specially for busy moms who doesn't get time to take care of their own .. After becoming mom, life changes completely and lifestyle too.. The little bundle of joy takes all the 24hours and at the end of day, we feel tired and exhausted and sleepy too... In between we started putting extra kilos and few moms also go underweight.. After realising the truth we started missing those beautiful days when we spent hours in front of mirror, gyms, etc... I think most of you related to this story... Well, not need to worry, there are few tips and techiniques through which we can keep our body fit and healthy, and that's what today's post is saying about...
Eat healthy and keep body hydrated -
A healthy and proper diet is really necessary for everyone to stay fit... If you are over-weighing, then starving is not an wise solution... Every person has to take a proper balanced diet everyday which includes right ratio of carbohydrates, proteins and fats .. Being a mom, it will be a little difficult to manage initially but it will become habitual as time passes.. Dry nuts are the great option to have daily as these are rich source of protein and fat .. If you are a non-vegetarian, then meat and fish are good options. Skip white rice and adopt brown rice.. It is advisable that, a proper diet includes three main meals and two snacks meals in between. Avoid outside food or packaged / processed food ,try to make every possible food at home in heigenic way..
Along with diet, drinking water is really necessary to keep body hydrated.. Minimum 2lt. water intake is advisable but you can calculate the right quantity according to your body weight.. There are applications available on mobile through which you can calculate your accurate water intake..
Yoga or Meditation - Meditation is the best way to keep mind fresh and stable.. Just do meditation whenever you get time throughout the day and feel relaxed. Yoga is the best way to loose weight or to be fit.. I personally prefer yoga over gym exercises. We moms don't get time to visit gym on regular basis, hence yoga is the best option to follow at home.. You can take help of YouTube to follow steps. Just give 30-40minutes daily and see the result..
Aerobics is another great option for busy moms or simply you can dance in random steps ... Dancing is the best and affordable exercise you can say... just turn on the music and move your body 😀😀 .. Walking is another option to stay fit.. You can carry your baby with you while walking ... There are such several options around us, we just have to discover those...
Do Fun Activities with your Kid -
Moms always run behind their kids, I think most of you will agree with me. Try to involving yourself in the fun activities with your kid and both will get benefited through this.. My son is 4years now and I love playing outdoor games like badminton, table tennis, cycling with him though he can't play these games but we try and spend quality time together... In this way I too able to burn few extra fats.. 😂😂
Take Sound Sleep -
If your baby is small, then it is really difficult to get sound sleep but try to keep body and mind relax whenever get free time. In this way blood circulation will increase and you will be fit and feel fresh throughout the day. Just plan a proper schedule according to your baby's sleeping routine and stick to that schedule strictly...
Make Plans -
Plan your work before hand and manage that in the same way .. When my son was very small baby, I used to note down my next day works in a diary and that helped me to finish my work fast and brought some free time .. That might sound stupid but actually worked for me..
If you really want to stay fit, then put a goal and plan to achieve it as soon as possible... That actually helps, trust me..
Except all these, you should have good fashion sense to look presentable always.. Don't over think about your weight and figure, just love yourself as you are... Nobody is perfect in this world... Don't run behind any fashion trend, always follow whatever feels comfortable to you. Keep stress away from life because life is too short, just explore the way you want it...
See you in the next post... Till then bye...
Love xoxo 💗
