I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy. Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. Hence, the name comes from HandLoom. It is a slow-crafted process, as it needs the utmost patience, creativity, and physical strength to create a masterpiece. Handloom sarees are generally priced because of this reason. I feel every woman looks graceful, powerful and amazing in a saree. Handloom sarees are repr...
Hello fellas... How was your Diwali? Mine was super fun and tried on the other hand... Well, now after a short break I am back to blogging with a happy face...
Today's post is on Kronokare Hydrate The Hair Shampoo which I had received in one of my fab bag.. This is the second product from Kronokare and I have so much expectation from this product because I found some good reviews regarding this shampoo while googling.. By the way, it is SLS, paraben, silicon and mineral oil free which is really good.. Let's see how effective it is on my dry, fizzy hair..

BRAND CLAIMS - Get rid of the yucky, feel lovely and lucky ! Citrus works on cleansing from within and on every inch, from toe to chin. The essential oils will hydrate and care and with a scent to fresh, you will think twice before you share.
Instructions - Squeeze like you mean it, massage a little bit. Now take a second to pray a little prayer, for the day is going to be so very fair, rinse.
** I like the way they have mentioned the claim and instruction...
INGREDIENTS - Citrus Bergamia (Bergamot essential oil) , Citrus Sinensis (Orange essential oil ), Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit essential oil)
*full ingredients list is missing, these are the active ingredients only..
PRICE - Rs149/- for 55ml.
Available on online sites.
Shelf life - 2years from mfg..
PACKAGING - The Kronokare hydrate the hair shampoo comes in a small plastic bottle with a flip open cap.. I have the 55ml. bottle but the bigger size bottle comes with pump dispenser packaging.. All the information is on the bottle itself.. Because of the compact size, it is easy to carry and easy to use too..
MY OPINION - I have used this shampoo twice till now and very sure about its effectivity on my hair. I use it with my regular conditioner as I don't have the conditioner of the same range.
I do oil my hair before every shampoo. And trust me, even after two washes it was not able to make my hair oilfree.. It indicates that it is very mild and you can use daily as well.. It doesn't have SLS, that's why it doesn't lather much, in fact it doesn't lather at all. Even after two washes, I didn't feel clean.. With this shampoo I need at least four washes to clean my oil and dirt from hair which is a little hectic for me. After wash it leaves my hair super dry and sticky kind... I have already dry and fizzy hair and it doesn't work on that part which is again sad... I think it is best suitable for oily hair ,but I am not sure... I am not using it anymore... All my excitement has gone in vein..
The shampoo has gel kind texture and almost transparent in colour.. It has very mild citrusy fragrance. The consistency is towards runny side.. I need a hell lot of products to clean my oiled hair... Seriously I don't like the shampoo at all...
🙂 Nice compact, travel-friendly packaging
🙂 Has mild citrusy fragrance
🙂 Is SLS, paraben, silicon and mineral oil free
🙂 Has different kind of essential oils in it
🙂 It is more suitable for normal to oily hair I guess, not sure
CONS.. -
🙁 Doesn't lather at all (very little, but I think it is not a negative point, but still..)
🙁 Not able to clean and remove oil from hair even after two washes
🙁 Make my hair more dry after wash
🙁 It doesn't make hair smooth and manageable as it claims
🙁 Availability
🙁 Pricey
RATING - ❤❤/ ❤❤❤❤❤

Have you tried any Kronokare hair products? How is your experience?
Oh...definitely it would suit me.....I would try this sooner or later....
ReplyDeleteKronokare products are really looks attractive by their packaging. I have tried 2 products from their skin care range. Those are quite good for me. No have not tried any Kronokare hair products yet. Thanks for your honest opinion.
ReplyDeleteLathering doesn't have to do anything with effectiveness, but the fact that this dries hair and doesn't clean well is a definite buzz kill.
ReplyDeleteI used this and found it really good.
ReplyDeleteThis is an interesting review.Did you try using without oiling ?
ReplyDeleteI have used this shampoo it's not that good..
ReplyDeleteHave heard great reviews about their skin care range. Really looking forward to try their hair care range too
ReplyDeleteThis hydrated shampoo looks like a great product for hair this winter ✌

ReplyDeleteLike your review on this product. I havent use this product but your review seems great and now i want to try this one.
ReplyDeleteoh Definitely then not my cup of tea, but you should try once without oiling and then share the result for the same.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your honest review! This is a skip for me!
ReplyDeleteThis Shampoo really works for hair's. I.loved the Citrusy feeling !
ReplyDeleteI always thought krono kare products are very good.. this looks disappointing.. thanks for the honest review
ReplyDeleteI used this and it didn't work for me too as I shampoo after oiling my hair...
ReplyDeleteI too have this shampoo but never really used it. I have dry hair so thought it might not be suitable. Thanks for your review.
ReplyDeleteWow new for me hydrated shampoo. Lovely product it seems to be.
ReplyDeleteI have tried this shampoo and love how effectively it works.
ReplyDeleteIt lathers only if you try with little water at a time. There won't be suds like other shampoos but it works. You need to apply it in a line on your hair side by side and then rub with little water to let it soak, wait for a minute or two while you soap up and then wash.
ReplyDeleteThe only down side is actually the price and size.
