Travelling is always fun and creates happy memories. Travelling to different places, explore the new place, food, culture always excites me. Packing wisely for any trip is the key and smart packing can make your trip more convenient and comfortable. It is always good to travel with the right size luggage than lugging around multiple bags. For wise packing, you need to work on techniques like proper planning, choosing the right luggage, etc.
How to Pack Wisely for a Trip !! |
For a wise and light packing the first thing you should follow is to pen down all the kinds of stuff you want to carry for your trip. Then rank the stuff on the basis of their priority and remove the extra stuff from the list. As you are going to pack light, always choose products which you can use in multiple ways. Choosing the right size bag is also important for packing wisely.
Here I am going to share a few tips which can make your packing light and smart.
How to Pack Wisely for a Trip !! |
Clothes :
Always pack clothes according to the weather of your travel destination. Carry clothes which can be styled in multiple ways. Mix and match is the trick. Choose lightweight clothes. Roll the clothes while putting inside the bag instead of folding. In this way, you can carry more clothes in less space. Don't forget to carry matching accessories like belts, scarves to add a new look to the same clothes. Pack your lingerie items in a separate pouch or lingerie holder.

Shoes :
I will advise you to go with sneakers or flats instead of heels unless you have to attain any function at your travel destination. Sneakers are very versatile and match with every kind of outfit and comfortable while walking. A white sneaker is a must.
Skincare and Makeup :
A girl's luggage is incomplete with a bag full of skincare and makeup. But you have to choose your products wisely to make your bag light. Don't carry much skincare products, in fact, don't use much skincare products while travelling. Because the changing atmosphere of different locations can make breakouts. Avoid carrying the huge bulky glass moisturizer tubs. Choose the travel size of skincare products. Always carry a sunscreen over any other skincare. This will be a saviour for sure. Again avoid carrying the hair styling tools unless you have to attain any special occasion there.
How to Pack Wisely for a Trip !! |
Incase of makeup, always carries the multipurpose products which you can use various ways. Carry a single face palette with neutral tone shades. Pack 3-4 lipsticks of different shades. Here you can apply lipstick also as blush, contour, etc. I will suggest doing as minimal as possible makeup while on a trip. A kajal and a mascara are good to go. Don't carry brow products additionally, a mascara will work the job perfectly. Instead of makeup remover, carry facial wipes. These are very handy to use. Instead of bulky perfume bottles, you can carry the testers. Avoid carrying liquid products while travelling. Pack skincare and makeup in two separate pouches to make it convenient to use.
Jewellery :
Carry all of your jewellery in a single pouch. Pack small jewellery like earrings, nose pins, rings, etc. in a small box or small pouch and put inside the main jewellery pouch. Again I will say carry minimal jewellery and multipurpose jewellery is a wise decision.
Toiletry :
First listed down the toiletry you want to carry. Choose travel size products here also to avoid any kind of spillage inside your bag. Instead of carrying the bulky shampoo/conditioner bottles, choose the small pouches. Don't forget to carry toilet sanitizer and intimate wipes to avoid uncertain infections while on the trip.
No need to mention about the mask, sanitizer and gloves. These are compulsory to carry. And keep your tickets and other necessary documents handy inside your bag pack or handbag.
