Not much into reading !! Well, you can watch this video here -
#1 : It needs to create an illusion of a longer lower body than an upper body. For this, try to keep the waistline of your floor-length gown, Anarkali, or maxi dresses just below the bust line instead of the natural naval area.
Always wear a high waist bottom (pants/palazzo) and pair it with short tops. The same thing you can follow with high waist skirts or lehengas. Even plus-size can follow the same. This style can make you look taller than your actual height.
#2 : If you opt for a one-piece floor-length or single-color outfit, then essential to define your waist line. You can wear a narrow belt or stitched fabric belt (which should be slim). Always avoid wide belts or belts with big buckles.

#3 : Don't cover the entire body with clothes. Try to wear a deep neck or broad neck top and bottom with side slits or ankle length. Go with an elbow-length sleeve over full sleeves outfits or completely sleeveless or strappy tops, etc.
#4 : Wear both the upper and lower outfit of the same color like single color saree, palazzo top, Anarkali suits, gown, etc. In this way, there will be no color breakage while someone will look at you, creating an illusion of being taller.
#5 : Don't break your body in more than two horizontal parts color-wise. Wear same color upper and lower outfit and contrast footwear or vise-versa.
#6 : Wear either fitted top and loose bottom or loose top and fitted base. Don't go with both upper and lower outfits oversized else; it will make you look bulky.
#7 : Go with vertical stripes for bottom wear (also, you can go with an upper outfit ). Vertical lines in bottom wear create an illusion of longer legs. Remember not to choose broad vertical stripes. Also, you can opt for horizontal bars for the top, and it will look similarly good.

#8 : Tuck your top into your pant or jeans or trouser instead of leaving them open. It will look good and stylish too. If you have a heavy hip area and are not comfortable tucking, go with layering. You can layer with a shrug or blazer to create a classy look.
#9 : Choose ankle-length bottom wear instead of full-size bottom wear. For western, ankle-length pants, trousers, palazzo, jeans, and for ethnic, go with ankle-length leggings or pants instead of full chudidar. A minor ankle should be visible to create an illusion of longer legs.
#10 : For dresses, always go with knee-length or ankle-length dresses. Don't go for a calf-length skirt. It will break the bottom body into two parts look-wise and make you look shorter.
