 I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Be it from Bollywood or Hollywood, celebrities are launching their own brands every now and then. They are taking the skincare and makeup market to another level with their  fantastic launches. 

 82°e is the premium skincare brand by Dipika Padukone. Since the day the brand launched their skincare range, I can see influencers, celebrities, youtubers are raving about the products every now and then . There are mixed reviews on these products on internet. I wanted to try out the brand since months but the higher price tag always pulled my hands back. Then after few researches I ended up buying two products from 82°e and using since two months. Now I am ready with my review on these products. Read below to know if the brand is worth hype, are the products worth your money,etc. ?

82°e is an Indian brand owned by Dipika Padukone. The brand believes in simple way of skincare. Each and every product of 82°e feels luxurious and works premium. The ingredients are special and great for skincare. Here is a unique combination of science and ayurved. The brand believes in cleansing, hydrating and protecting skin with their premium skincare range. Till now there are around 12 launches. You can get both minis and full size versions of each products.

Lotus Splash is an antioxidant-rich, foaming cleanser, enriched with purifying lotus extract and bioflavonoids. It has a gentle formula that is perfect for daily use and helpful in removing impurities like dirt, oil, dust and makeup. It is clinically proven to condition your skin and maintain the pH balance as well.

Lotus extract is rich in antioxidants which help to enhance blood circulation. It increases collagen production and maintain skin’s elasticity. Also works on dark spots and fine lines.

Bioflavonoids are also rich in antioxidants and are excellent at replenishing the skin’s natural lipids to restore its natural moisture balance. They also promote collagen production and help the skin to achieve an even skin tone. 

It is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. Good thing is, this is free from sulphates, phthalates and parabens.


My Experience 

First thing which attracts me is the luxury purple packaging. This is a glass bottle with nosal dispenser. It is a 100l. of product and comes with an outer cardboard packaging which has all the necessary information regarding the product.

The facewash is little runny in texture and smells very pleasantly. It lathers really well and removes all dirts, excess oil, impurities perfectly. Skin feels refreshed after using it. My skin is normal to dry type but doesn't feel drier immediately after washing it off. It helps in maintaining the pH level of skin. I haven't faces any kind of breakouts or skin issues even after using it for 2months till now. It suits all skin types.

Turmeric Shield SPF 40 PA+++ is a lightweight sunscreen serum packed with the healing properties of turmeric and ceramides. It absorbs quickly into skin and the fragrance-free formulation protects against skin damage caused by UVA/UVB rays due to sun exposure. It is clinically tested to leave your skin hydrated, healthy and glowing.

Turmeric is a potent ingredient known for its antioxidant properties that help to soothe irritable skin. While Ceramides help to replenish the skin’s natural lipid levels to trap moisture in the skin. Both these ingredients protect the skin’s barrier against damage caused by harmful external elements.

Turmeric Shield SPF 40 PA+++ broad-spectrum sunscreen offers protection against UVA and UVB rays. The UV filters in our sunscreen are also known to offer protection from blue light. This is free from oxybenzone, avobenzone, octocrylene and octinoxate, hence completely safe to apply during pregnancy.

My Experience

This is a very premium looking glass bottle packaging with nosal dispenser. The texture is creamy with thick consistency. This sunscreen is in serum form , hence It has spreads easily on skin and absorbs quickly into skin. It leaves no white cast unlike some other sunscreens available in market. It is fragrance free. Along with sun protection it is hydrated on skin which I like the most. It has broad spectrum which is great for skin protection. The ingredients are natural, hence no side effects on skin.

Final Verdict 

I am liking both the products from 82°e . Though the price is on the higher side but it performs also well on skin. I am not sure about the other products from this brand . I would love to try if the brand will lunch the minis or sample size products of their existing launches.
